Reading an inch ruler in 32nds is pretty easy if it’s clearly marked like this model here. From 0 to 1 inch, there are 32 parts to the whole inch - that’s 1/32 of an inch. After that, everything is 16 parts to the next inch. So, you just count up from 0 and you’ll know exactly how many 32nds there are!
